The grammar of word order is simple, but there is a lot of small nuances. The homework will be easy: I want you to practice the simple and correct answers.

Good luck! Check the shortened rules below to reassure that you are doing right.

A) The first and the primary rule is 1. Subject + 2. Verb + 3. Object;

B) The second rule is place before time;

C) We place the adverbs before the verb;

C) In case if we have the verb “to be”, we put them after the verb;

C) When we have two verbs in one phrase, we place the adverb between them;

D) If we ask questions, we put the auxiliary verb before the subject, and then we place the main verb;

D) If we have the verb to be, we place it before subject (then we put the main verb if we have Continuous tense;

D) The same rule concerns Past Simple/Continuous, Future Simple, Present Simple/Continuous/Perfect, etc.;

D) When we have negatives, we put the auxiliary verb + not (or another negative as never, nothing) before the subject.Homework 10
