This grammar lesson was not enormous. I want you to make the process of studying this grammar as easy as possible for you. So we are going to have some practice today to learn.

Dr. Seuss describes what we know about learning in the following neat quotation: “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” As for me, I want to visit one hundred more countries, and I learn new grammar, words, and languages every day. Let’s go together to some new places after doing the homework!

1) Change the sentences. Describe an action that will start and end before the definite moment in the future.

• Ann will come home at 6 o’clock in the evening. Bruce will leave the flat at 4 o’clock.
• You will be at the University till late in the evening. When you come back to the hostel, the lights would be turned off.
• They will do their homework in the morning. Their parents will ask them about their homework only in the evening.
• I will take my dog for a walk. We will meet all of the neighbours before we come back.
• We will try to write an essay. This evening we will have ten drafts.

2) Change the sentences. Describe an action that will begin at a definite moment in the future, and will still go on at that moment.

• Francis will start his play at 5 p.m. He will play until 9 p.m. You will come to his performance at 6 p.m.
• She works with you for six years now. Tomorrow will be the seventh year.
• We are arguing for 20 minutes. In ten minutes it will be 30 minutes of our arguments.
• You will sing during the whole play. The opera finishes in two hours.
• I will run tomorrow in the morning. My distance will take only one hour. I will be tired in thirty minutes.
