The designated voting period to determine the Best Grammar Blog of 2011 is ending October 17th, 2011, and we are counting the days and hours until the winners are named. As this is the final weekend to promote your entry and best the competition, we hope you have a chance to get out there and spread the word before the voting page closes.

Others will be promoting their entries too, so it’s important to get the word out and direct readers and fans to the voting area. The more you promote your entry, the better your chances will be. Many promotional methods only take a few minutes to complete, and they are well worth the effort. In addition to featuring the Grammar.net nomination badge in your sidebar or in a prominent location within your blog, there are a number of other things you can do to get more support. Here are a few ideas to help you win more votes:

• Blog about the contest.
• Tweet about your entry.
• Share a link on Facebook.
• Link to the voting page from social networks.
• Email the voting page to friends.
• Ask voters to send links to their friends.

All social media tools are located on the sidebar of the main voting page. Contest entrants have received more than 7,000 votes all together. Now is the time to get in your votes before a winner is determined. If you haven’t already, be sure to cast your vote and take a look at the results page to see who the early favorites are. Links to each entry are accessible from the voting page, so you can take a look at new grammar blogs and old favorites, including Blood-Red Pencil, which is one of our featured entries.
